While there, they are met with still another tragedy, and, when Amie needs Josh the most, he seems to be too busy to care.
Through it all, Amie still manages to have a fun semester at school, highlighted by Homecoming weekend, a trip to the state championship game, and special times with friends. She learns important life lessons and grows in her faith, friendships, and maturity.
